Today is November 12th of 2017.
A rainy Sunday and everyone is hungover from yesterday’s Carnival parties. Except for ya girl who had to work until evening. 🙋🏽
What a perfect day to go through my camera roll and check for photos that almost didn’t make it to my blog posts or Instagram.
No, but really, I always have the best time shooting and it’s so funny to see what can come out when you move at the wrong times or when your friend/boyfriend *ahem my professional photographers* press the shutter too early. 😂
It’s so important for me to be real and authentic and even though everyone wants perfect photos on their blog or social media, I’d love to share my
not-so-instagramable moments with you as well and show you what goes on behind the scenes.
“stop it, show me the photos”
when you accidentally do the sassiest hair flip
feeling like a child
when taking photos, the wind is either your best friend or your worst enemy, there is nothing in between
sadly, we’re enemies most of the time (also nail polish on fleeeeek 💅🏼)
“I don’t know what to do…” “just act like there is a really hot guy walking by” “okay”
Ooookay that’s enough for this post. I’m thinking about making these a series because I also love when others post these. 🤔
It just turned November, which makes me really happy because this means it’s getting closer to December, which means it’s getting closer to
the time I’ve been looking forward to for a looong time now: Christmas time. 🎅🏼⛄️❄️
But first, I want to embrace November and its cold-but-not-extremely-cold weather in my favorite sweater.
I’ve become so obsessed with embroidery on sweaters, this one has sequins on it and kind of just screams Christmas to me, even though it’s not a Christmas sweater, so it helps me to cope with my excitement for but is still appropriate to wear in the fall time as well. 😇
Does that even make sense? I don’t know but I guess that’s why I’m so in love with it.
I was taken back to my childhood while shooting because I totally forgot how much fun it was to…. throw leaves…. 😅🙄
No but really, my life has become so busy over the past few years that I hardly ever find the time to enjoy the less noisy places in Cologne.
Even though the Decksteiner Weiher is an artificial pond, it still gives you the feeling of being in nature and I love going for walks around it or sitting on a bench and watching the ducks & swans because it’s so calming and different from my usual days.
I’m so glad it finally got colder here because I was so excited about wearing this jacket ever since I received it in the mail last week.
For me, fall and winter are the seasons of fluffy jackets and I’m all about the Teddy style this year.
My favorite thing about this jacket is that it goes so well with black (what doesn’t?), which makes it so easy to pair it with so many of my favorite pieces
like this little Picard bag my grandmother gifted me last year.
I had the best time shooting today because… I mean… how incredible is this view over the city?
Another day, another stroll through the city.
If there’s one thing I love about big cities it’s that you discover new places every day.
We were blessed with the most beautiful weather today. 23 degrees, sunshine and a clear blue sky.
Actually, I had already prepared myself for sweaters and fall/winter fashion but today I went out in just a white tee.
