Christmas has come and gone, which makes me so sad. I don’t think I need to tell you how much I love Christmas time again but I actually love the time between Christmas and the new year just as much.
I had an amazing Christmas, I spent it with my family and we had the best time.
When I was younger I thought that everyone who says they don’t like Christmas for the presents is a liar but over time I understood that Christmas really isn’t about presents. Sure, who doesn’t love receiving gifts? But giving presents and celebrating with the family is so much more important.
However, since I already showed you what I did on Christmas Eve in my previous post and how I spent the other Christmas days in my next post, I decided to share what I got for Christmas with you because – I must admit – I got some pretty nice things.
If there is one thing I was desperately in need of, it’s a new bag. I’ve had my Longchamp bag for 6, maybe even 7 years now and a new bag was long overdue. I came across this bag on the Michael Kors website and I’ve had my eyes on it ever since then. However, by now it can’t be found on the website anymore. When my dad and I got to the Michael Kors store, we found out that many items – including this bag – were on sale which I was so happy about because even though I’m so happy he bought it for me, I still feel bad when people spend so much money on me.

I also found these while Christmas gift shopping with my dad and it was love at first sight. Their sparkle has caught my eyes immediately and I actually prepared myself to spend my own money on them because I only asked for a new bag – which I needed waaay more than a pair of earrings – and I didn’t want him to pay for them as well but he insisted on buying them for me.

I’ve had my 140 x 200 bed for over 2 years now but never came around getting an appropriately sized blanket for it so my mom took action and gifted me this huge blanket with a wintery case for the blanket and a pillow.
Isn’t my boyfriend the cutest? He said that since I’ve been talking about Paris nonstop, he wanted to take me there over New Year’s Eve so we’re actually heading there in less than a week. Ahhh, I’m so excited! If you have any recommendations concerning cafés, pretty streets/locations etc. please let me know.
His parents gifted me this cute city guide with a huge map, which we’re definitely going to need!
I also got money to spend in Paris from my family members, we’re staying for 4 days and I’m sure we’ll make it a great time.
What’s Christmas without chocolate? This is the typical add-on to any gift. I’m obviously not going to eat this all by myself because I’m trying to get back on track with my healthy eating, but I still like to indulge every once in a while.
My mom also gifted me and my boyfriend a small bottle of champagne to clink glasses in Paris on New Year’s Eve. 🥂
