Weekly Update 5/2018

That’s all I’m saying about last week, I’m sorry there was no Weekly Update but nothing about that week was worth sharing. But hey, posting two ‘normal’ posts in a row makes up for posting two Weekly Updates in a row, I guess…

Now onto this week.

MONDAY
one after another

I started the week and day off with a leg and booty session at the gym before I got ready to meet my friend Rebecca in the city. We strolled around, I got a rice box with chicken teriyaki and shot some photos for Instagram and my recent blog post.

When I got home I waited for my boyfriend to pick me up after work because it was his sister’s birthday.

TUESDAY
upper body day

Tuesday wasn’t too eventful. I got up at 7:15 because my boyfriend had to work at 8 and even though I really didn’t want to work out for no reason at all, I made it to the gym after only 2 hours of procrastination and you know what? it felt amazing.

Other than that, my Tuesday consisted of social media and cooking for myself and for my boyfriend, who came over after work.

WEDNESDAY
rain and more rain

The weather was bad, as always. I actually planned on going to the city with Rebecca again but it was raining so much that we decided to stay in instead.

I usually love working out when it’s raining because I feel like it saves the day from going to waste. However, I really didn’t want to work out again, I don’t know what was up with me this week but I just didn’t want to. But for some reason, I always went anyways. My trainer told me to do at least 45 minutes of cardio if I do and I often strive for more – even if it’s not a lot more – and try to do about 50 to 60 minutes but my only motivation was telling myself it’d be “only 45 minutes today” so I drove to the gym and did exactly 45:00 minutes – which felt a lot like 45 hours – of cardio.

While I was on the way, I ran some errands for my university enrollment – I just realized that I didn’t tell you about this on the blog or anywhere else besides Twitter but I got accepted to university last week and I’m starting a study of Business Administration in April!!! Ahhh I’m so excited!

THURSDAY
Carnival shopping

Carnival is just around the corner – which honestly doesn’t excite me at all, I’m such a bad Colognian, I know – and my boyfriend and I had to visit Deiters to get some things for his costumes because I already have everything I need: black jeans, a black top and black eyeliner to draw something on my face. And don’t tell me it’s uncreative because I already know that. 😂

But before, as always, I went to the gym in the morning and it was time for leg – well actually mainly booty – day again. I was so motivated and I had the best workout in a long time.

However, the best decision I/we made that day was making burgers for dinner because I was craving them and they were so goooood.
Afterwards, we started watching Dark and, oh my God, I’m obsessed. We watched the first 5 out of 10 episodes and I can’t wait to see how it continues. We swore each other we’d only watch it together and I’m trying my best to keep my word but it’s not easy.

FRIDAY
working out in the future

My boyfriend had an appointment at the gym, which was not the gym I usually go to, but since it’s the same company I could also train there. The gym I usually go to is a “Classic” gym but the one he goes to is a “Future” gym where they have more modern machines etc. and it was so much fun to try something new.

Afterwards, I dropped him off at his’ so he could shower, get ready etc. and I did the same at home because we met Rebecca in the afternoon to shoot some photos for her term paper and outfit photos for myself.

SATURDAY
shopping, shopping, and more shopping

Sadly, it mainly was the “boring” kind of shopping: grocery shopping. My mom and I spent about 5 hours in the shopping center but I spent one of them at the gym doing 60 minutes of cardio and I felt like I could go on and on and on but I stopped for time reasons and because I don’t want to burn too many calories.

Even though we mainly went to get groceries, I also got something I absolutely fell in love with which I’m showing you in my next blog post and in one of my next Instagram posts.

SUNDAY
family day

My mom and I had a rather chilled morning and spent the afternoon at my aunt’s to celebrate her husband’s daughter’s birthday and it consisted of lots of gray clouds, graupel, and cake.
